Privacy Policy
Our calculators and checkers run in your browser. We don't use cookies, we don't create accounts, and we don't build profiles of visitors.
What we measure
To learn which pages and tools are useful and improve them, we record anonymous, aggregate usage events:
- Page views, which page you came from (website name only, e.g. "google.com"), links clicked on our site, how far you scrolled and roughly how long the page was open.
- How the tools are used: for example, which species were compared and the verdict, the tank size entered, which fee calculator was used, an approximate price range (like "$25–100") and the category selected. We don't store the exact numbers you type.
- Your country (from our hosting provider) and whether the screen is mobile- or desktop-sized.
We do not store your IP address, browser fingerprint, cookies, or any identifier that links one visit or page to another. Timestamps are rounded to the minute. Events are kept for up to 13 months and then deleted. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we record nothing.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits and page speed without cookies and without tracking individuals.
Advertising and affiliate links
We don't show ads or affiliate links yet. If we add them (for example Google AdSense or Amazon Associates), those providers may use cookies. We'll update this policy and disclose affiliate links on the page before that happens.
Your choices
Enable Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser to opt out, or block /t.js with any content blocker. Because we hold no data linked to you, there is nothing personal for us to look up or delete. Questions: hello@rockypanda.com.
